The Role
We're looking for experienced Bar Attendants who know that hospitality is about more than making drinks. It's about creating moments.

• You'll be mixing cocktails, recommending your favourite drinks, chatting with guests, delivering food and beverages, and making every person who walks through the door feel like a VIP.

• At least 2 years' experience in a quality cocktail bar or restaurant

About the Role …

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Chefs with skills in both catering operations and a la carte restaurant experience for day and night shifts. Working a rotating roster within a tight knit team you'll be working alongside chefs with years of knowledge to further develop your skillset.

Key responsibilities include:

Working in a busy venue with a highly skilled team
Keeping a sharp attention to detail
Maintaining high standards with general kitchen practices
Assisting other chefs in the kitchen but also have the ability to run your own section if required
Ensure that food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.
 

About you…

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

• Qualified with a minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
• Flexibility to work a rotating 7 days roster, with shifts varying between the hours of 7:00am and 9:30pm
• Passion for your trade is as must!
• Ability to maintain composure and consistently deliver a high quality of service in a fast-paced kitchen
• Well organised and time management skills
• Punctual and reliable team player
• Have an eye for detail and able to work under pressure.
• Work with minimal supervision and be a great team player.
• Be driven to succeed and to progress.

Are you the type of person who sees something broken and fixes it?

We're looking for a hands-on Handyperson / Trade Assistant to help maintain and improve our diverse facilities across Southport Sharks, Mantra at Sharks Hotel, Health Club and our extensive club operations.

No two days are the same. One day you might be repairing a wall, replacing ceiling tiles or painting a room. The next, you'll be assisting with minor building works, supporting trades, moving equipment, or helping prepare our facilities for major events.

What You'll Be Doing
• General repairs and maintenance across the Club, Hotel and Health Club
• Painting, patching, tiling and basic carpentry tasks
• Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance projects
• Responding to maintenance requests and facility issues
• Supporting venue presentation and upkeep standards
• Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for members, guests and team members

What You'll Bring
• Practical maintenance or trade assistant experience
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
• Experience in painting, patching, basic tiling and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A trade qualification or apprenticeship experience will be highly regarded but not required

• Cleaning bathrooms, making beds, mopping and vacuuming within the rooms and surrounding public areas
• Assisting with the distribution of linen, changing linen and restocking amenities
• Working with a team who will have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus 
• Reporting damages and breakages

About you…

As someone who has experience in the hotel industry, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within guest rooms and surrounding public areas
