About the Role …

This is an Expression of Interest for an experienced Houseperson who is reliable, has a passion for motivating a team and takes pride in their work, to assist in the leadership of our Housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying large bags of linen
• Restocking of clean linen
• Service and clean hotel rooms for check-in and outs 
• Keeps things in best condition by directing work and suggesting the necessary replacement of equipment
• Drive productivity
• Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
• Check supplies, equipment and housekeeping trolleys ensuring that at all times they are fully stocked and neatly presented for use in a guest area
• Check constantly for room status discrepancies and reports to Housekeeping Department and Front Office immediately.

About you…

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

• Minimum 1 years working within a similar position within a 4-5 star hotel is advantageous
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to recognise reoccurring cleaning issues
• Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• A friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues
• The flexibility to work weekends.
