About the Role…

Step into a leadership role at one of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant rooftop destinations. Aviary Rooftop Bar is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our leadership team. This is more than a supervisory role — we’re after someone who can lead from the floor, inspire our team, and help shape the future of Aviary.

About you…

As someone with previous bar supervisory/leadership experience, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our guests and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

• Exceptional bar and cocktail knowledge – you live and breathe cocktails, have a deep understanding of spirits, and thrive on innovating and educating others.
• Leadership under pressure – the ability to think on your feet, handle stressful and delicate situations with confidence, and maintain a calm, professional presence.
• Team motivator – proven ability to coach, mentor, and inspire bartenders to deliver excellence in every drink and every guest interaction.
• Operational know-how – assisting the Bar Manager with ordering, stock control, compliance, and driving bar efficiency.
• Guest experience focus – creating memorable, premium experiences that keep people coming back.
