About the Role…

Step into a leadership role supporting two of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant venues — Aviary Rooftop Bar and the brand-new Kaktus. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our leadership team and work alongside our Bar Manager across both venues.

This is more than a supervisory role, you’ll be hands-on, helping to drive culture, inspire our teams, and shape the next chapter of two standout hospitality concepts within the Southport Sharks group.

About You…

You’re someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and brings a strong background in hospitality leadership. You understand what makes a guest experience memorable and can adapt your style between Aviary’s elegant rooftop energy and Kaktus’ bold, modern Mexican flair.

You’ll have impeccable presentation, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn, lead, and grow within a multi-venue operation.
