Southport Sharks boasts a diverse range of food and beverage outlets, multi-purpose Events Centre with capacity for 1000 people, gaming room, kids' zone Health and Fitness Centre and a 120 room Mantra Hotel which includes a breath-taking rooftop bar. 

We are seeking applications for a vibrant Guest Service Agent with exceptional customer service skills to join our Front Desk team within the Club. 

About the Role...

• Welcoming all members and guests
• Promote the benefit of membership and the club loyalty program to non-members
• Accurately process Club memberships
• Answering all incoming phone calls, including redirection, answering queries and accepting dining bookings as required
• Provide prompt, friendly, customer focused service to patrons purchasing take-away beverage and mini-mart items available at Fins Cellar

About You…

You will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

• Experience in a Reception and/or Front Office environment is essential
• Exceptional presentation and grooming
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people
• Knowledge of club facilities, services, promotional activities and membership procedures
• Cash handling procedures
• Experience in operating a PABX telephone system
• Familiarity with Ticketmaster sales operation is an advantage
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office products

The successful applicant must be available to work across the week with various shifts ranging between the hours of 7.00am and 1.00am.
